Finnegan Shannon joins the Weitzman Department of Fine Arts at Penn and the Institute of Contemporary Art for a special artist lecture exploring how their work rethinks accessibility and challenges ableist systems through humor, care, and bold intervention. Known for projects like Alt Text as Poetry and interactive installations that center rest, play, and inclusion, Shannon’s work has been shown at institutions from the Queens Museum to MCA Denver. This free public talk is part of ICA’s ongoing lecture series connecting leading artists, writers, and cultural voices with the Philadelphia community. Come be part of the conversation and engage with ideas shaping contemporary art and culture today.
