This warm and festive evening is designed to bring our community together in celebration of culture, heritage and creativity.</p> <p>As part of the celebration, we are proud to present Visions of the Diaspora: A Collective Art Showcase, featuring a diverse selection of original works and prints by well-known African American artists as well as African-inspired pieces. This special exhibition invites guests to explore the many ways art reflects identity, history and the beauty of the African diaspora.</p> <p>Throughout the evening you will experience live music, dance, poetry and storytelling performed by Karen Smith Drums and Sistah Laying Down Hands. Guests can enjoy cultural cuisine as they take in the performances and browse our Ziwadi Marketplace inside The Silk Tent, where they will find Kwanzaa essentials, intentional gifts and a variety of seasonal items created to enrich the holiday experience.</p> <p>We will also offer interactive Kwanzaa games along with a raffle for a holiday basket filled with hand-selected goods from The Silk Tent and Bari Butiki. This gathering is designed to uplift, inspire and prepare us for the meaningful traditions of the season.</p> <p>We look forward to sharing this memorable evening with you.
