About this film: As America's stock of athletic young men is depleted during World War II, a professional all-female baseball league springs up in the Midwest, funded by publicity-hungry candy maker Walter Harvey. Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson and Kit Keller spar with each other, with their teammates, and with their grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan on their way to fame. (Rated PG for some crude humor and sexual innuendo. Runtime 2 hours and 8 minutes)
Thank you to the Movies in Clark Park sponsors Philadelphia Federal Credit Union, SLICE, and The Irvine for their generous support of this series.
