Discover the wonders of the Schuylkill River and the home of America’s first great botanist, John Bartram by treating Mom to a beautiful afternoon on a Mother’s Day river cruise to Bartram’s Garden. This three-hour tour includes a guided riverboat ride and walking tour of Bartram’s Garden, a National Historic Landmark, and adjacent Sankofa Community Garden. There will be time to explore the Bartram’s Mile recreational trail or relax under some of the oldest trees in the City.
